flex shaftHad my 4000 with a flex shaft for one month. I have used the system to wood carve mostly and have enoyed it. I have put about 100 hours on it now and the system has held up fine. For my first carving efforts I think I have done fine with room to Improve.

Versatile toolI bought this particular model largely because of the selection of attachments and the range of speeds for various materials. I have relatively small hands and wish this was a tad smaller around. I’ve owned a Dremel in the past so I’m familiar with the function but experienced a mishap with the straight edge collar that went too deep. Pay particular attention to tightness of attachments. If you think it’s tight enough, double-check it by making sure it really is as tight as possible to avoid the problem I had. Otherwise, it’s a great tool.
